I offer a few different options to help you do what you love for a living. I created my own small service based business from one of my passions over 15 years ago and it’s now been my sole income for the last 10 years. I love working for myself it makes me feel empowered, abundant, and free.
By learning how to start a business in an area that you’re passionate about, you can set your own days and hours and work around your hobbies, your self-care routine or your children’s needs. I call this style of ‘work from home job’ a lifestyle business, because it allows you to live the lifestyle that you want!
Empowered Soul courses and workshops are run live in person in the Byron Bay Hinterland in NSW, Australia, or via zoom for those who don’t want to holiday here. Self paced online courses will be coming soon too, so please connect with me if you wish to start your own business, boost a current business or turn your skills into online courses but you can’t get to an in person course and you prefer the online courses study option.

MY SMALL BUSINESS BACK STORY:
After creating my own high quality, all natural method in an alternative hair niche and I branded my business, grew it to reach an international following and developed my skills to reach an expert level. My small business became successful in my eyes, as it allowed me to replace my full time teachers income, working only a 3 day week, which allowed me to be at home while my babies grew. Working for myself meant I saved time and money, by not travelling to work. I created the business on my own terms and attracted like-minded clients and ended up being booked out for 6 months in advance.
I found that I missed teaching and after some clients asked me if I taught my trade, I thought, why not?! So I recorded everything I did in the business, turned each step into an easy to follow curriculum, scaffolding the content, so that my students would learn the basic skills first and work their way up from there. Then I turned all my knowledge into a series of certificate programs to teach others how to run the same micro niche business.
In a ten year period from 2013 – 2023 I ran over 20 in person four day certificate courses and sold over 1000 online courses in my own online school. My certificate level online courses have helped over 300 people start their own business doing what they love for a living.
Many of my graduates quit jobs they didn’t like and say it changed their lives.
Earning money while you sleep is a dream but knowing that you have helped someone improve their life is even better!
THIS IS A PERSONAL TESTIMONY FROM A STUDENT WHO THOUGHT SHE COULD NEVER RUN A BUSINESS:
Essentially, I turned a one-to-one service-based business that had a limited reach, into a series of courses that allowed me to share my skills one to many and zero to many. Nobody taught me how to do this, but I fumbled and bumbled along the journey, combining the deep knowledge of running my own business with my teacher’s know-how. I then harnessed my stubborn “can do” attitude and creative energy to simply make it happen. The first launch was a bit of a flop, but gradually more students came and I kept refining the courses until I was happy to open my own online school and share my courses with the world. From the second launch it became a successful, decent, consistent semi passive income, which allowed me to replace a full times teachers wage in a 1 day working week!
